I'm a foodie of sorts, must admit.
This is a Sweet Potato Rosti, with a bit of quark and cheese filling. Ah, the wonders of having to find a solution for the lack of eggs at home😂
Today's workout..
I was a taekwondo player (red-I) and temporarily stopped due to some reason..
So today I've practiced kicks and punches and fights..
Feels amazing ☺️
I recently met an accident.. so couldn't workout for quite many days.. but ofcourse I was following my diet.. (little cheat treat)
Back on track again.. ✊🌻
I already started this journey on the 5th of this month.. I've been exercising regularly (though not much, yet) and beem on a calorie deficit..
This challenge has been made late btw..
So today onwards I'll start posting all the stats.. ( diet and exercise )
Changes:: I feel happier and healthier than before..
My goal is to maintain a gluten and dairy free diet duringfour months in order to decrease health problems linked to intestinal inflammation, ovarian cysts, PMS and endometriosis. After three surgeries, and having seen several reports (you can see some on youtube and reddit, in Portuguese, and some in English as well), of people who managed to get rid of or considerably reduce inflammation and symptoms after months following a rigorously with zero gluten, milk, dairy, sugar and alcohol, I'm going to give it a serious try this time.
I've done other similar diets, but I've never tried to completely eliminate the consumption of foods with these components, and I haven't managed to stay on a diet of this type for so many months either. Considering what I went through with the surgeries, I think it's worth it.
This post is for @NoG
So… I made a cake yesterday 🙈. Not healthy at all, I know. But, I think it's okay to eat homemade cake now and then, even if it's not the healthiest option. My "philosophy" : it's all about moderation, you just need to find your balance. ❤️
Enjoy your day, guys and have a great week ahead. 🍀
Green smoothie for the win 💪
Protein powder, water, and 2 hand fulls of spinach 🥰
Learning to eat clean is the key to health 💕
Be thankful for your friends, they are the family you choose!
I made pancakes 🥞 for my mom and dad😋
So… After this beautiful yogurt bowl, I was full for nearly 3 hours and felt full of energy. Since I live in a townhouse, going out for a jogg is still allowed, so I grabbed my running shoes and spent 30 mins exercising because it felt good, not because I had to burn calories. Crazy how a little attempt to shift this mindset made such a huge difference. Actually being aware of my movements, paying attention to my body's responses, enjoying and challenging myself just for the hell of it, MAN! It feels amazing!
A pause on the "I have to lose weight" stravaganza. For four years, I'd been a slave to calorie counting, diet and food. Yes, food, because anyone on a diet knows eating is the only possible thought on the process.
The thing is: I decided, after watching a video from "Pick Up Limes" channel about intuitive eating, that was time for me to listen to my body again.
Since my metabolism had dropped significantly due to almost four years of a restrict-binge cycle, I knew a weight gain was almost inevitable, but our body is an amazing, blessed machine, and I firmly believe it will find it's balance in no time. Meanwhile, I can enjoy my victory over the weight gain ghost.
I've struggled with overeating for two years now, and feel desperate to stop. It affects my life im many ways, making me feel worthless.
I figured if it's out there and in form of a challenge, it will be easier.
Would you guys help me?
