Book recommendations for today. Recently finished this highly recommended reading. I was a bit reticent in picking it up as it seemed religious but its not. Its an awesome spiritual awakening exercise for anyone wanting to understand oneself and others. Glad I read it.
Today I woke up way later than I expected, but I definitely needed the rest. Moving on, the start of the day is beautiful. I feel strengthen and refresh when listening to this meditation. Today I choose happiness. I choose relaxation. I choose me.
I usually wake up from anxiety or anger, but it's been a long time since I've awoken with excitement and sense of achievement. Just the act of staying consistent makes more than happy.
Moving onto the meditation. This wan has beautiful voice. And after listening to it, I feel even more empowered!!
Sometimes it is so hard for me to meditate. My mind continues to wander and it's hard to give my over-active brain a break. Even with all of that in mind, I decided to try it anyways, because today I've woken up super tense with a headache. A lot of thing in my life have been causing me stress. So this and yoga mixed in with gratitude will hopefully up my life.
