Neville Goddard’s 55x5 method is designed to manifest your desires, but today I decided to try this method just to get myself into the mood of writing. The physical exercise of copying my affirmation for 55 times with pen and paper (not my computer!) got me into a meditative and focused state. It calmed me down almost immediately after I began the exercise. As I gradually got to the 55th time, I came to believe in what I wrote, and I did feel motivated to write. I recommend this method to students who want to “get into the flow”, i.e. to get into the optimal mental state, of studying.
