Why do a three day smoothie cleanse? To give the body a chance to restore, and to provide an ample amount of nutrients to the body when doing so.
Choose 4-6 smoothies a day. Drink smoothies when you need to but do not mindlessly sip on them all day, just when you are feeling hungry. The goal of this is not to starve yourself, if you find you are hungry but you have already had three smoothies that were rich in hemp hearts, nuts or other types of fat, follow that with one or two smoothies that contain mostly greens, a little fruit, and fiber. So make sure you are getting enough calories in your smoothies and checking in with yourself every ninety minutes to see how you are feeling.
