Every day of the year at 11.00, 12.00 and 21.00 (from March to October also at 17.00) two different episodes of the 16th century are represented: a carousel between knights in honor of the wedding of William V of Bavaria with Renata of Lotaringia and the coopers dance to celebrate the return to life after the plague epidemic that hit Monaco between 1515 and 1517. As a conclusion, the golden rooster placed above the boxes moves its wings and sings 3 times.
The start of the show is anticipated by the sound of the bells of the tower to warn all spectators that the Glockenspiel is about to go off.
