What doesn't kill us makes us stronger
There is no way to happiness - happiness is the way.
A pause on the "I have to lose weight" stravaganza. For four years, I'd been a slave to calorie counting, diet and food. Yes, food, because anyone on a diet knows eating is the only possible thought on the process.
The thing is: I decided, after watching a video from "Pick Up Limes" channel about intuitive eating, that was time for me to listen to my body again.
Since my metabolism had dropped significantly due to almost four years of a restrict-binge cycle, I knew a weight gain was almost inevitable, but our body is an amazing, blessed machine, and I firmly believe it will find it's balance in no time. Meanwhile, I can enjoy my victory over the weight gain ghost.
It hurts, but that’s all it does. The most difficult part of the training is training your mind. You build calluses on your feet to endure the road. You build calluses on your mind to endure the pain. There’s only one way to do that. You have to get out there and run.
